wada sez: On Seibertron, Lunsford explained: āI wrote it as a direct homage to King Kong, 1933 version. That's even where the proverb come from. Basically, I never really thought too much into how their relationship worked. The piece is more about how Starscream was once a savage warrior, but when he sees Alexis and her pain(and a certain kind of beauty, frienship?), it opens up a new part of him. Ultimately this part leads him to join up with the Autobots, and sacrafice his life against Unicron.ā Most of the stripās action was Eichingerās doing, as Lunsford stated: āthat was all him. The script was for only 5 panels :).ā

wada sez: As many commenters would put it, this strip isĀ ālogic vs logicā; Shockwave and Prowl were both defined by their rational thinking in Budianskyās original profiles for the characters, with their appearances in the Marvel comics popularising those personalities. Prowl is definitely based on his UniverseĀ toy, and I think the same is true of Cosmos and Beachcomber, if Cosmosā curved shoulders are anything to go by. Anyone know if that shuttleās based on anything?

wada sez: What an odd strip! Iām not sure Iāve ever seen a religious take on the Coneheads. On deviantART, Feller said:Ā āit's my interpretation. they didn't get much in the way of personalities in the cartoon other than one or two episodes where they were semi-featured. i branched out. [...] i wanted to take a serious look into not only the Coneheads but also a bit of the religious aspect of Cybertron.ā Fair enough! Dirge and Thrustās colorations are accidentally swapped in the first panel. The statue is drawn to resemble Rodimus Prime. See below for a preview of tomorrowās strip.

wada sez: Bludgeonās design here appears based on a sketch by Derrick J. Wyatt from around the timeāthough bizarrely, the strip ignores Wyattās idea for Bludgeon to be reimagined as a pirate. Appropriately, Prowl is wearing his samurai armor from āA Fistful of Energonā to match his opponent. The stripās title, which refers to them both as ninjas, is presumably artistic license. wada sez: In the deviantART comments, Eichinger remarked that it took over a year for the MosaicĀ editors to actually post this comic! Genuinely I don't know why they were running at a rate of one every few days, if that was the sort of lead time they had. On Seibertron, Lunsford said:Ā āI guess I did write [Snapper] similar to Sky-Byte. But really, that's pretty much the reason I wrote the piece, cause he has NO personality, other than a throw-away line about him talking incessently in "Beast Wars: The Gathering #2". I've had Snapper when I was a kid, and I loved turtles, so I loved his figure, and I decided he needed at least some characterization. As for Claw Jaw, I love his figure too, a surprise Flea Market find. Also one of my faves. I considered having him narrate the whole time, but him being silent made him that much cooler. So all in all, this is truly a fan-boy story.ā

On deviantART, Desrochers offered a list of the āmagicians and sorcerersā Mickey is acquainted with:Ā āThere's Jafar from Aladdin, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, Fairy Godmother from Cinderella, Merlin from Sword in the Stone, Master Yensid from Fantasia, Genie from Aladdin although he's neither a magician or a sorcerer.ā See below for Desrochersā original script and commentary.
First Panel: Blackness, nothing.
Prime: Where am I, what happened?
Second Panel: Haze is lifting, ill defined shapes are barely identifiable as the clouds, a tree and what might be the side of a building.
Unseen Commentator: Gosh, you had a bad fall, but donāt worry youāre safe now.
Third Panel: Shapes are fuzzy, but clearer. The sky is a vibrant blue, the clouds seem to glow, the tree sways gently as if in a breeze and the side of the building turns out to be a barn door.
Prime: I feel strange, somethingās different.
Unseen Person: Gee Iām sorry, when I touched that crystal thing something happened to change you. I donāt know why.
Fourth Panel: POV Prime as he sits up, before him is a creature never before encountered, an anthropomorphic mouse with perfect round ears, white gloves, yellow shoes and a pair of red shorts.
Prime: Who are you?
Mouse: Iām Mickey Mouse.
Fifth Panel: Prime climbs to his feet and shakes his head.
Prime: Iāve never heard of a Mickey Mouse. The Matrix changed me because you touched me you say, but why? *Mickey shrugs at the question*
Sixth Panel: POV Prime looking at his reflection in a pool of water, he should appear cartoony similar to Animated Prime, but more in keeping with traditional Disney animation looks.
Prime: By the Matrix.
Seventh Panel: Full body shot of Mousemus Prime looking both shocked and comically petrified.
Prime: Megatron could never take me seriously like this.
Eighth Panel: Close-Up of Mickey looking suitably ashamed and disappointed at having caused Prime trouble.
Mickey: Oh Iām sorry if I caused you any trouble. Maybe I can get some help to change you back to the way you used to be, I know a lot of magicians and sorcerers. Even a Genie.
Last Panel: Mousemus Primeās upper torso with a Disney bluebird flitting past his left ear, he shakes his head at Mickeyās concern.
Prime: *Sigh* It is not your fault Mickey Mouse, the Matrix does strange things. I shall have to learn to live with it I suppose. Or perhaps, sorcerers you say?
This might need a little work, let me know if I should rework the last couple of scenes. It might not jive well enough.

Here is the original script for my Transformers Mosaic piece, I have left it completely intact and chose not to edit it to reflect the changes made in the final draft.
As you can see there was some more dialogue between Mickey and Prime and no really dynamic ending for the piece. Blueike the artist really fixed it up for the second draft by limiting the dialogue and adding that final dynamic scene it helps the story a lot more than what I originally had as an ending.
Most of my other unclaimed scripts have good endings I think, but this one I will admit to having a difficult time limiting myself to actually end the piece on one page. Not only is it a blending of my two favorite hobbies, but it also wasn't easy letting go, my muse wanted to keep writing I think. But I had to limit myself.
Fortunately my collaborative comrade helped get a much better message across for an actual ending. Thanks Blueike :D
