wada sez: With this strip, after over two years of daily updates, the Transformers: Mosaic archive is now complete. I’ve taken the time to write up my feelings on this endeavour as a whole, which you can find in my post on the TFWiki community blog.
Was randomly rewatching The Rebirh yesterday and noticed that one of the Hive memebers sure sounds familiar
Dear Vector Prime, I know the answer to this question likely varies throughout the multiverse, but where are countries such as Carbombya, Kalistan, Trans-Carpathia, Nanzhao, Brasnya, and Benzheen located? I'm specifically looking for their locations in the IDW 2005 universe.
Dear Country Confused,
While a lot of things vary throughout the multiverse, I can confirm that most of these countries and regions are located on Earth.
Slamdance, Grandslam and Raindance should be in more G1 sunbow-inspired fanfics
He never got into Sunbow cartoon but, they would bounce off so well as uncle figures to the Protectobots and Aerialbots.
We got two incredibly ancient transformers here, probably predating the Autobots and Decepticons
We have a little pacifist tank who makes documentariesÂ
decked out with mostly nonleath weapons [ 4 repulsor ray generators and a shell-cannon that mostly shoots smoke-shells ] except for two little non-accessory cannons never mentioned in fiction, so could easily hold some terrible power
Raindance the aerial ace turned photography enthusiastÂ
And they combine together into a little guy
And that little guy they combine into is a blank slate! With only a profile given by Dreamwave MTME that makes them a reporter.
But in actuality:
: a type of dance (as to punk rock) in which leaping dancers collide against each other.
So can have fun there!
They may be so old they may come from a time when war-models weren’t meant to be sentient or considered people. How would they feel about the Decepticons claiming to be inheritors of their legacy?
And the Aerialbots while probably not respecting Grandslam, well I think Raindance would set them straight.
I could imagine them not even having names only serial numbers at first, getting names on Earth.

wada sez: Loweck and Valbuena reunite for their final Mosaic strip, this time focusing on Tracks’ friend Raoul from “Make Tracks” and “Auto-Bop”. A few Easter eggs here! Raoul’s fictional brand of spray-paint is called “RE-DECO”. He’s wearing a t-shirt for The Warriors. The school is named after Sunbow Productions, the studio responsible for the cartoon; Sari Sumdac and Chip Chase are seen on the steps. HasTak is a collective term for Hasbro and Takara often used in Transformers fandom.

wada sez: This strip plays into an oddity from the original Sunbow cartoon; in The Transformers: The Movie, Hot Rod and Arcee are shown flirting onscreen for most of the film, but in the show’s third season, with Hot Rod’s narrative role having shifted with his transformation into Rodimus Prime, Arcee was instead typically written to have a closer connection with Springer. Mario Coleman offered this scintillating bit of behind-the-scenes commentary on this one: “I hate, hate, HATE the friend zone. I wrote this from experience unfortunately.” This strip just about predates widespread awareness of incel culture. Meanwhile, Onishi specifically noted having drawn the Dinobots into this strip out of love for their depiction in the show’s third season. That big looming hulk in the final panel is a rare appearance of Broadside, drawn to match his pre-final character models based on an early toy prototype. With this strip, Multiverse celebrated having ten pieces published. See below for clean inks.
