Do you have any advice on where to get some good quality character shoes? :)
Where are you based? I’m in the UK and have got all my dance/acting shoes from the following places:

the cure for dancing awkwardness
Ok, so i was in a Zumba class at the gym awhile back and i was extremely nervous that people were going to judge me. it was one of those classes you just follow along while the dance instructors dance, and i kept messing up the moves and tripping over myself.... about a quarter through the class i got an idea. i began picturing my favorite characters in the place of the dance instructors. it made it a lot easier to dance in front of all those people because as soon as i began "seeing" familiar faces dancing with me i was able to lighten up. there was many a time when i had to do everything in my power not to double over laughing while picturing a really serious character who would probably never dance even at gunpoint doing all these Latino/hip hop moves and getting really into it.
so if you ever find yourself being dragged into some dance class of any genre, remember my little piece of advice. it really helps when you are nervous or self conscious of your dancing skills.
what she said and she was like "nothing" Year 3: which is this year: I went to my friend's birthday and he asked me to dance ( I can dance) so i said no, I saw him staring at me more than one. Then at school he was staring at me too in this weird creepy way. Anyway through all this time I've never liked him, but now I'm kind of starting to get a thing for him and I don't wanna admit it. I'm just confused, I don't wanna get hurt! What should I do?
i hate it when this happens but i only got this part of the message. i'm not sure what the rest was but if you like him and he likes you, maybe you should get together. i don't know the entire story(since i haven't recieved it) but asking you to dance and looking at you are signs of him liking you :) if you want/can, send me the first part of the message. i'm sorry this happened :( all the best.

WHAT IS THIS ABOUT? Salsa Me is a blog started by me Salsero Ruiz where I talk about everything salsa. From opinions and interviews to some practical tips and advice.

WHO ARE YOU? I have been dancing for about 6 years and have not only been involved in teaching, but also have been a regular party promoter and congress attendant. From the salsa promotion background I have had a chance to meet with many known dancers/performers and get their unique ideas and opinions that I think should also be shared to the world
WHY SHOULD YOU READ THIS? Because I will be writing about 2 things.
1. All the things I wish someone had told me when I started dancing.
2. All the things salseros talk about with each other, but never admit to.
