Why does Fabio sit so close to the TV
Is this Fabio's pad?
If so, why does he have F1 helmets casually laying on his coffee table? š

@ anyone who's just seen the title and thumbnail of Dan's response video: its ok, it's actually a pretty calm and seemingly sincere video, Dan gets a bit sad at points but there's no anger or yelling or anything like thatĀ
sincerely,Ā
someone who got a wholeass heart attack just looking at the video
Good to know what I missed was more of Dan's bullshit.
DANāS PAPERS: Dan Rattinerās guide to The Hamptons is a great read and evidently has discovered my Hamptonsā photos.
Itās darn cold outside here in Bedford, New York as a foot of snow covers the yard.Ā What to do? Besides booking new adventures to well south of the border, I start to think of upcoming times at my humble waterfront beach cottage in Montauk, New York, aka āThe Endā. End of Long Island, NY, that is and home to the rich and famous, simple folk such as myself and DANāS PAPERS, a newspaper dating back to the early 60s and a bible to tourists and natives and me. Morningsā yogurt and berries would not be the same without DANāS to delve into for local activities, the police blotter and tide timetables for those of us hearty souls who brave the surf with a fishing rod in hand and jams on the torso.
Evidently Dan started the local paper in his youth some 57 years ago.Ā The need was there.Ā Dan, motivated and in a timely place in his life, filled the need and whatās available throughout The Hamptons and even in NYC now is the result of plenty of years of hard and smart work.
I like Dan.Ā Heās one of those guys who just has a ālike meā kind of look.
Being considered a resident of East Hampton, I do receive invites to the yearās summer gatherings. You know, the kind where the men can wear their Ralph Lauren shorts with the sailboats embroidered on white and a navy belt with schooners on it and perhaps requisite loafers sans socks all topped with navy blazer. Seeing Danās mug *~) at the parties, heās easily spotted with his trademark straw hat and when I spot him, well, heck, going to walk on over, intro meself and ask for a job writing monthly columns on worldwide travel with a catchphrase moniker of something like āTravels from Ditch Plainsā or āTravels from Montauk (to the international scene of excitement)ā.Ā Besides scribbling these true tales of travel adventure to fulfill a need Iāve felt to write since college days, well, heck, I would like to earn a few drachmas from this work to help finance more adventures round this ever growing smaller planet.Ā
So here I sit home from a break on my hideaway ofĀ Big Corn Island, Nicaragua and decide to do a search for published photos of mine. Besides finding my food photos in use by Huffington Post and USA Today and more of my images purchased and printed in all the major travel guides from Lonely Planet to Moon Guides to Fodorās and more, well, sum of a gum, up pops my copyright for my photos in use by good old DANāS PAPERS in The Hamptons.Ā The most recent purchase and published photo was used today, Valentineās Day. The Danās page is hereĀ http://www.danspapers.com/2016/12/top-10-most-read-hamptons-police-blotter-stories-of-2016/Ā Ā four photos/stories down the page.

Seeing as my photos have been sold well over 100,000+ times since I started this business a while back, I donāt usually get too excited about finding my images/footage in print but I will say there was something quite pleasing about seeing my pix in my summer hometown paper.
Searching a bit further I located two more of my images being used in DANāS.Ā With quite a bit of free and relaxing time when Iām chilling in The Hamptons, Iāve started projects photographing Montauk for starters and plan on roaming the streets of East Hampton/Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor and more this soon come spring summer.Ā Besides capturing the iconic images of The Hamptons, perhaps Iāll focus on a celebrity or two and adopt the moniker of unobtrusive papparazi!
Down the road by one of my fav restaurants, The Inlet, I captured below iconic scene of Montauk and sure enough, DANāS found a use for the image in a recent issue.

Hereās Danās listing for charter fishing:Ā http://www.danspapers.com/2016/05/experience-charter-fishing-trips-off-long-islands-spectacular-east-end/
And finally, a photo editor/buyer at Danās evidently like my image of the US Coast Guard Station located in the Montauk Harbor.

Hereās Danās page if you so desire a glance.Ā http://www.danspapers.com/2016/09/montauk-events-calendar-september-9-16-2016/
So with goals in mind and my pro-Nikon ready to go, all I need now is for the demise of old man winter to come rapidly and my adopted hawk to appear in my backyard this spring.
