My hyperfixation is having the time of its life. 😊 I'll see how long that lasts. I've had a lot of hyperfixations over the years.

I read this question for an online acquaintance of mine and I want to answer it too.

What movie was the first time you saw Dan Stevens in?

It wasn't a film, it was the series "Downton Abbey" (starting in 2010) and while I liked his character Matthew Crawley, I didn't become a fan right away.

In 2020, I watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga and again, I really liked his funny, over the top, sort of weird yet endearing character Alexander Lemtov. But again, I didn't develop a celebrity crush or a hyperfixation back then.

In November 2024, I had mental health struggles, rewatched that film - because to me, it's a sort of a feel-good and comforting film - and then the hyperfixation hit me. Since then, I have been watching a lot of films and series with Dan Stevens and I still haven't watched all there is. But that's alright, the joy will last longer. 😊

I have also drawn/painted fanart and have written fanfictions - and read fanfics about his characters.
