Today is Thursday, July 29, 2021. My alarm went off at 5:00 am. I want to get an early start today. I am in the guest house at Danny Majors’ home on the Atchafalaya River. I have 85 river miles to cover in the next two days. I want to do as many of those miles today as I can so that tomorrow will be a short day and I can enjoy time with my family.
