can i just say it amuses me how damien acts like he has to rely on others ("i'm so glad you do the rules thing so i don't have to" to amanda and "spencer, what can we do about this?") to deal with angela being a brat/annoying in checking the cards. i read that as he can't commit to doing because he knows he'd give in (see giving her the bicyle card) 😭😭😭
not to say he doesn't poke fun at her (see the exasperation of "how are eight cards bad?" and "what's wrong with that?" , the scoff after angela complaining, "this one sucks" and "then why was the stripper one so shitty?"). and then there's "i was gonna pick you, but that's worse" when she was fighting so hard for bicycle card and damien has to be like "i'm kidding" because he can't seriously scold her for longer than a second.
