I know, it’s so great! If I’m not mistaken, this is Damien’s first time on Smosh Mouth since they got their official new studio. It hasn’t really been TOO long, but it’s definitely nice to see him again 🙏. Based on the community post, it looks like they’ll be talking about their favorite things! I remember years ago on the OG Smoshcast, they had a similar episode and that was pretty fun. And of course, Shaymien together is always a pleasure to watch! They both were in that previous episode and I think a lot of their favorite stuff aligned with each other. So I bet tomorrow they’ll have a lot of the same lists again 🙂

Aw, that’s adorable! If the clip was from the recent bracket video, I remember Shayne saying how no one else really knew the character/the show, and I thought to myself that if Damien was there, he would’ve understood the reference with him 😓. I love how Damien liked your post, that’s so awesome! I’m not really into anime, but I think we need a video where Shaymien can nerd out about it ☝️. They make so many nods to it and not many others can relate except them. So it’s only fair to allow them to share that bond with each other and not have to worry about anyone not getting the references!

Yeah, I can definitely agree with that 😕. The 2022/23 era was probably the last time I’ve seen people respect Damien. It seems like ever since then, so many “fans” talk about/treat him so badly! Idk what made the switch, but it truly sucks to see. Hopefully we can get a bit of that era to return. Having Damien/Shaymien in more content and him being more appreciated from the fans again would be amazing!

If they were engaged by the time of filming that video, I’m sure everyone knew for sure! But if Shayne didn’t propose yet, I bet Damien at the very least knew what would happen. My head canon is that Damien was one of the main confidants 🥹. I mean, who’s better to trust with such secret than your best friend? Aside from the ring thing, I like to think Damien was constantly throwing subtle nods at the proposal to Shayne and Court too. As I said earlier, he’s pretty freaking sly lol. I wouldn’t put it past him to do that, and he’d be the best person to get away with it too. But this is all technically speculation. I of course don’t know if any of this is accurate, it’s just the brain rot doing its job lmao 😅
