James couldn’t help but sigh as he stepped out onto the sandy beach that bordered the island. He was home. Well, that was somewhat debatable. His home, or house, or whatever anyone wanted to call it, was anchored not far from where he stood. Throwing his bag to the floor, completely ignoring the other presence next to him, James walked over to a stack of leaves and branches. A wooden row boat was conveniently hidden behind the stash of greenery, and James had to thank whoever’s idea it was to hide it. The other occupants on the island were far too nosey for their own good, and if he wasn’t careful, he’d have probably had to swim back to the ship. Not that he’d have minded, but knowing who was with him, he’d rather not have him whining in his ear more than usual. “Be useful and grab my bag.” The pirate shouted over his shoulder, starting to push the boat toward the sea. “Lucien. Hurry the fuck up.”
