She pulled the the headphones from her ears and stowed the into her top. She turned gently in his arms so she was facing him. Her arms wrapped around his neck, “I wan’t expecting you.” He hand brushed gently on his cheek and kissed him gently. “I am really glad to see you though.” Dalia’s fingers pushed some of his hair away from his face and kissed him deeply.

She was trimming a very ornery rose bush when the sound of bell that she hung on the door made it’s signature twinkle. “Come on in. I’ll be right with you.” She pulled off the gloves and set the sheers to the side and came around the front of the desk. He was quite handsome she couldn’t deny that. “Good Morning! What brings you here?”

   “Now whats a guy like you doing in a place like this?” Dalia knew exactly who he was and what he did but she couldn’t dislike him. It was part of her nature. She smiled anyway, “I didn’t really think flowers were your thing, but I’ll admit it’s good to see you.” She’d always liked him, not that she could explain why maybe it was the face or the heart she was never sure. Her fingers brushed on the petals of a rose and then plucked the brightest white rose the had. She quickly dethorned and trimmed it before tucking it into Ray’s lapel with a pin. “There now you look truly handsome.”

“Oh my God! Puppies!” She ran over to the grew up puppies in the pound and giggled as they licked her face and nipped at her finger tips. “Aren’t they just the cutest!” Kindess picked up a soft white puppy she couldn’t quite tell what kind of dog it was but it was cute. She nuzzled her nose against it’s, “You wanna hold one? This one we named Iggy.”
