The previous night had been nothing but running through woods and picking fights with other packs who dared to not recognize the Dalca authority in the town. As a result, Andrei had sustained his fair share of injuries, all of which he now kept hidden underneath a t-shirt, hoodie, and a pair of jeans. Victoria was over at his place, and he had picked out the Matrix, hoping that it would at least keep him awake until later that night.Â
Unfortunately, that wasnât to be the case. Halfway through the movie, Andrei found himself slipping away, and before he could stop himself, he was out cold. The next thing he knew, he was awake in an instant, eyes scanning the room for any possible intruders and body tense and wired to spring into action if need be. Remembering where he was and whom he was with though, Andrei forced himself to relax and asked the question.Â
"Oh." He straightened himself, though all he wanted to do was to keep his head on her shoulder and breathe in her scent; unlike that many others, Victoriaâs was quite pleasant. "Sorry; guess I had a rough night last night." Actions a bit stiff, he rubbed at his eyes with the back of his hands, keeping back a wince when he stetched a wound too much.Â
There was something up about the way Andrei was acting. Maybe not necessarily acting, but he seemed stiff. Although, it wouldn't be out of the question if maybe he just did training or... something... So instead of pestering him about it, Victoria simply shrugged. "It's fine." Okay... maybe she couldn't keep it to herself. "Do you need a hot compress? Pain killers? You seem stiff..."
She couldn't help herself really. In fact, the words sort of fell out of her mouth before she could stop them. Andrei seemed to be acting weird lately, jumpy. Even when he just woke up, he looked like he was ready to beat the shit out of someone if he had to. Which was confusing. Why would he feel the need to do that if it had just been the two of them?
