It's funny, when you think people around the world is more accepting I still experience being labeled as "ohh she is Filipina?" with a cringe of doubt. I still have to fight for a spot, prove to the world that I can be whatever I want to be especially here in Europe. And I find satisfaction that after talking to me, it ends with "I never thought you could speak English really great." In my mind, I agree! "You really need a Filipina!"
