Twenty-five years ago today I had my hearing destroyed while seeing Motorhead for the first time. Sebastian Bach jumped on stage during their set(almost getting thrown off by an overzealous bouncer in the process) and added vocals to “Born To Raise Hell.” The show was originally scheduled for the Stone Pony Big Top, but was relocated to the club stage.

Chicago beer on my Port Huron porch. I have been tiring of IPA’s lately but I still won’t say no to some. Half Acre’s Daisy Cutter is one of them.

Half Acre Brewing Daisy Cutter Pale Ale. This one is light, crisp, and refreshing with it's citrus and floral hop character and subtle bread-like malt body.
