Alright, I’m waiting to post the first issue of Miss Cosmic (waiting for final character designs for two characters and a cover maybe) and I’ve discovered the writing itch is too strong.
So here’s a couple ideas that y’all can vote on with a description/Synopsis for each:
Lex and Lara: Lex has come to accept that good days will become bad days eventually. Usually that happens when a PR scandal occurs or when Superman decides to break something belonging to LexCorp. Tonight though, it happened with a phone call from the Metropolis County Sheriff’s Office, telling him that an ex he hasn’t seen in 7 years got into an accident with her now 6 and a half year old daughter. With the mother dead and all signs pointing to Lex as the father, Lex has to either readjust his entire life for a child he didn’t know he had, or risk letting the only family he has left be put in the foster system.
Untitled Daisy Project 1: Daisy Dansen had always looked down on the idea of producing art for the one percent of society, but bills had to be paid. So against all sense she had, Daisy took one of her favorite pieces she’d done of Ariadne being abandoned on the island of Naxos to a gallery event, only to find an old childhood friend, Lex Luthor, had grown handsomely along with his bank account. Lex offers not only to buy the painting, but to ease some of Daisy’s burdens… for a price of course.
Untitled Daisy Project 2: A messy breakup, being disowned, losing both job and apartment, and now a positive pregnancy test. How could Daisy’s week get worse? Her ancient pickup breaking down in the middle of a storm in bumfuck Kansas of course! With nowhere to go, Daisy thought she might as well give up, but the farmers that lived in the farm Daisy broke down in front of had a habit of taking in strays.
Ivory: Who doesn’t love another batkid? When Batman responds to an explosion outside of Gotham and finds a terrified child that can only speak ancient Latin in the middle of the rubble, Batman does what he does best, take her in. This short side comic series sets up a future arch in Miss Cosmic while explaining where Ivory Wayne, Lara Luthor’s best friend and badass punk, came from.
