Daily Build: Fisherman’s Shack

(I am in love with this house!)

Amine and Makoa talked and decided what they really needed to live their best life was a place ideally suited to their respective passions of marine archaeology and conservation.

They dropped everything back on the mainland and settled into a renovated fisherman’s shack on a tiny island in Mua Pel’am.  It took everything they had, but Amine’s sense of design was still put to use in furnishing it with anything they could find and piece together for a very eco-reuse look... with a touch of studious occupants and artifact collecting thrown in.

It was now a short swim across the lagoon for Makoa to check on the island’s environment and a quick sail out to the dive area for Amine.  There was space for a small garden, space for relaxing and entertaining, and they made sure to have a(n UPGRADED!) Murphy bed tucked in for when Makoa’s daughters stayed on the weekends.

Daily Build: Centennial Farm

I’m so in love with this build, and the pretty place I found to put it in Brindleton Bay.  Once I get my screen windows to satisfaction I may turn it into a shell and get together a CC list for upload.

I was inspired when I realized I could make a “pond.”  I don’t know why I’d never tried it before!  They can swim and fish in it!  There will definitely be more ponds/lakes in the future.  I have ideas.

Once I got Cats & Dogs, I figured I’d give the pets thing a try via downloading some dogs that look like goats from the gallery.  I started off letting them run wherever (but the house, doors locked!) but I immediately got really tired of the barking and movement all over my screen.  So I put a real fence along the debug fence to pen them in.  Now they have their own space inside and outside the barn, and my farmers go out every morning to check on them and care for them.  I like it! (🤞 now on team Farm EP)

I intend to have a big farming family live in this lot.  So far my Farmers (that’s their last name because I’m so creative) have 2 kids and the 2 goats.

When she has time, Ginette likes to takes care of the goats, Señor Goats and Peach.

Their crops are established and they keep bees.  Felix tries to sell some of their produce by the road, but NOBODY EVER WALKS BY.  His efforts have been for naught.

Joe Baker, his fiancée, Flynn, and his dog, Denali, just moved in to his grandmother’s house in Willow Creek.  She had decided it was time to downsize and head off to a retirement community in Brindleton Bay, and who better to buy her house than the grandson she’d raised?

Joe is always the life of the party.  He works in the tech field, but his real passion is baking.  See, that’s where I got his last name from, because I’m creative.  He bakes, his simstagrams it, and he plays with his dog while Flynn is busy writing and recording her own folk songs.  She’s very talented and already gaining some fame through sharing on social media, although she also performs little concerts at parks or cafes.

Oh gosh, Señor Goats and Peach had puppies kids.  They’re kinda cute?
