Presented as the big bad of the first season of Adventure, this Fallen Angel Digimon started as another Adult/Champion option for your fire-breathing Dinosuar or electric Amphibian. The embodiment of Hot Topic’s severs. 

I adore Ogremon, he contains a lot of my favourite design elements from early Digimon, really vascular, weird body implants and spikes, scaring, but still has big baby blues. What a cool dude.

The more iconic of Betamon’s Adult forms, Seadramon is a pretty famous Digimon, becoming one of the first anime’s main villains in MetalSeadramon. A very slick design. 

HAND OF FATE! Angemon and Devimon are some of the best humanoid Digimon designs, because despite being “human” there are so many small oddities that make them stand out, like Devimon’s elongated limbs, and in some art for Angemon, he is implied to be hollow under the clothes. 

A lot of people like to make comparisons between Pokemon and Digimon, despite the only real similarities being “collectable monsters”, and Shellmon is one brought up with Slowbro, however, this is just because both are based on the “Sazae-oni” from Japanese mythology! 

While Greymon may be more recognised, Tyranomon has endured as the mascot of Digimon as a franchise, still appearing in anniversary materials, and on the cover of the anniversary artbook. 

The more standard Adult form of Gabumon, just a big old anime wolf. I like it’s weird... feathers? What are those things.
