Gotta love the Internet. Began the process of firing up my ancient Yamaha DTXplorer electric drumkit for the first time in about four years, only to discover a low battery warning in the brain. What battery? Of course someone has had this problem before, and of course the solution is online. Bless Yamaha for using identical screws in every position on the casing, and once I figured out the various clips, it was simple. Zip ties, hopes and dreams. Abandoned the idea of using that alternative lower radiator hose, and came up with a better way of protecting the mk2 hose I was previously using. Mildly modified mk2 plastic clip now secured to the mk1 bracket in a much more satisfactory manner. Substitute for the standard lower radiator hose pathway. Doesn't angle up to the outlets in the same way as OEM, which flares the end of the hoses a bit.
