Stereotyping daemon forms
So, I’ve been thinking about dae forms and how the environment that surrounds you influences your stable/settled form, and I was wondering how this would apply in our current society.
Specifically about “stereotyping” animals and people and if that would be a problem or not. I had been reading about camels because I find them really pretty but, browsing them I realize they must be an important part for the culture they live in, since they provide a lot of benefits for the owner and herd.
But then I thought, if I were to write a story in which a somalian girl with a camel daemon, would it be stereotyping or how does the girl would feel with that.
I used the camel example but it could apply to any number of animals that are so simbolic to the culture they are in that just by looking at said animal makes you think of the country they represent and how would people react when that happens.
Basically, I just want to know how the world would react if a certain american coworkers’ daemon, suddenly able to manifest physically, settled as a bald eagle. Or someone from Mexico with a chihuahua daemon
