Sorry for not contributing to this beautiful week yet. I finally found some time to draw a little dadvid sketch, so…

I present to you: “Studying with David”, he’s not very helpful, but he’s trying 😁

Day Three: Past

Study! ♥ For a father, there always comes a time when a child will ask for help with their homework or study. Is it Maths, English, Science? Do they both struggle, or can David explain it without being roped into finishing it himself? 

Candy! ♥ Although not the healthiest treat, David is always up for giving his child a little reward now and again. And perhaps a bit more. And a bit more. Alright, maybe he spoils them a little too much, but everyone loves candy! 

Time out! ♥ Not everyone’s perfect, but there’s always a point in their life where a child tends takes it a bit too far. A few minutes hours alone in their room is sure to teach them hopefully. And maybe a few chores, too

Photos! ♥ One of the best ways to keep all the good moments close to heart. David loves them, that’s for sure, and he’s always looking for a way to fill the family album! Maybe he’ll even let his child see his childhood photos, too! ...Or, maybe not. 

Games! ♥ We all know David’s not exactly handy with a console, but he’d do anything to make his child happy. High chance is, they’re probably just happy to be winning all the time, but David doesn’t mind. He’d still insist on playing a nice board or card game though. Maybe they could come up with a compromise! [ Also consider: David and their child inside your favourite video game! ]

Mornings! ♥ Mornings with David around a normally a pain, but he’s even twice as excited to have a child around! Better hope some of that energy stays bottled up, or else there’ll be no sleeping in around here! 

Movies! ♥ Similarly, movies are always a fun ( and thankfully, quiet ) time for a family. Of course, nothing quite completes a movie without popcorn! And maybe David crying, who knows?  [ Also consider: David and their child inside your favourite movie! ]

The main prompts for Days 1 to 7! A bit of description is given for all, but how you take the prompts is up to you. Alternative prompts will be given, most of which will be non holiday related in case anyone would prefer not to base the week around the topic :) Most prompts are written with the either of David and any one of the campers, but it’s up to you if you’d want to include others as well ( for example: if you’re a Danvid or Gwenvid fan, feel free to include the ship in any of the prompts as well! ) 

Day 1: Snow day! With winter comes snow, and with snow comes many things! Snowball fights, snowman, snow angels... or perhaps David has something bigger planned? Nonetheless, there’s no stopping him from making the first snow day an enjoyable one for his family!  Day 2: Warmth! A necessity for such a cold time of the year - how do they go about it? Sitting in front of the fire? Drinking hot chocolate? Cuddling? S’mores?? Anything is possible, really! 

Day 3: Shopping! Shopping is an important time for a month such as this! Whether it’s present shopping, outfit shopping, food shopping... any one of them is necessary to make the month an amazing ( and delicious! ) time!

Day 4: Frostbite! We all know how cold Winter can be - better bundle up before something worse happens! Hopefully someone doesn’t end up caught in a snowstorm! Better make sure everyone stays safe this December! 

Day 5: Day trip or a family outing! We all know how much David loves spending time with his family, and what better time to do it then such a special month! Where does he end up taking them? 

Day 6: Holiday! It’s December, and that means holiday plans! What kind of celebration is taken place? Or is there a trip being planned? 

Day 7: Free day! Feel free to take this day to draw whatever your heart desires! ( Alternative prompts can also be used on this day once we decide on them! ) 

I hope this is enough description! Alternative prompts should be out soon, so there’s no need to worry if you’d rather not do a certain day. We’ll have some other ideas for you soon!
