Kasumi had been exploring the new room he was given. It was surprisingly cozy, and he sat on the bed thinking about what to do next. Kiki had told him that someone special was coming over, and he was both excited and nervous about meeting him. He could hear Kiki doing.... something, in the kitchen, and had at one point come out of his room to look over her shoulder. However, he had no idea what was going on. She was using some odd contraptions along with some other food items to do something that smelled oddly familiar, though Kasumi couldnât put his finger on it. She didnât look like she needed help, so he returned to his room. After a few minutes, he heard a knock on the door and then Kikiâs voice called him over.  He nervously peeked out of his room. â....cake?â he murmured, his eyes lighting up. âOh... CAKE!â The angel darted out of his room toward Kiki and the man awaiting at the door. Recalling Kikiâs greeting from earlier, he did his best attempt at copying her. He held out his hand toward the newcomer and beamed at him. âHello! Iâm Cake! I mean--â he paused, his ears turning red. âIâm Kasumi. I love cake!â He held his face in his hands.  âSorry... I just got excited.â
Noticing the cake batter on her face, he became aware of the apartment. Ah, yes. He could recognize it, though he had never had the chance to try cake. Not like he could anymore, anyhow.
âApologies, I was just making sure you were alright. You already understand my feelings.â As he was lead inside, Stanislav gave Kikiâs hand a light squeeze, silently relishing in her warmth. âCake--for dinner? Kiki, I donât think thatâs a wise choice--â before he could finish, the wiccan had called out to her newfound guest.
Once an unfamiliar figure came into view, his light hues narrowed. It was hard to tell what the vampire was feeling, though the air around him seemed tense with suspicion and an eerie calm. Letting go of Kikiâs hand, he eyed the angel closely. After a moment, he extended his hand, lightly shaking his hand. He noted the angelâs warmth against his own cold flesh, but made no comment of it. Once their handshake was done, Stanislav crossed his arms as the angel stumbled on his introduction. He didnât seem to be judgemental, no, but he found himself gradually relaxing. It seemed this angel was naive, excited even--but Stanislav couldnât trust him. Not yet.Â
âKasumi--? Ah, I see.â His eyes scanned the angel much more closely, unsure of what to make of the angel. He seemed...oblivious. Was it an act, though? Likely not. âMy name is Stanislav. Stanislav Dabrowski.â After a momentary pause, he dipped his head. âIâve heard little of you from Kiki, but she said you were a new resident, yes? In that case, I extend a welcome to you.â
Looking over to Kiki, the vampire king raised a brow in a questioning manner. âIâm sure thereâs much to discuss with Mister Kasumi, no? Before that, though...Iâm willing to pick up actual food for the both of you. You donât even have to say anything--just let me know where to go, and what you and your guest would like.â
She giggled at Kasumis clumsy way of introducing himself, he definitely gave her Garridan vibes. The two would most certainly be good friends this she was sure of. âI love cake too! I love all sweets in general...â watching as her vampire and new friend interacted she noticed Stan still seemed on edge. It wasnât a surprise to Kiki however as she knew by now how Stan worked. He wasnât as trusting as she was towards new people, or people in general. She perked at the mention of getting food. She was brought back to her recent texts with Elidi and how the witch had asked her to eat some real food. âWell....I suppose that it wouldnât hurt to get some healthier food to go with cake....â she turned to her angel friend. âWhat other types of food do you like?!â Kiki wasnât one to be picky over food so she decided sheâd let Kasumi decide what they should eat. After all he was new and technically her guest.
