So I feel like I owe this to all the other dads out there. My wife @keatonholly tricked me this morning in to taking Ember to the Doctors for her 4 year old shots. She asked me 2 weeks ago to get off work to take her because she did not want to hold her down because she would cry. I said sure, no problem. So I thought I was going just for shots. Little did she tell me that I would have to fill out a book of crazy behavioral questions, answer questions like I was on trial, convince Ember to do all kinds of crazy stuff, then make her pee in a cup 😳. Have you ever tried to get a 4 year old girl to pee in a cup.... well it sucks. The worst part is having your child look at you like you are a crazy person while you say things you thought you would never say like, "Only ever pee in a cup for mommy or daddy" and answer questions like "I don't have to poop in a cup do I?" (Which in case you are wondering I answered with, "If they tell me you do, we are making a run for it." 🏃 Anyway, then we got to get the glorious shots at the end of this hour long water boarding torture session. Holly says she thought it was just shots, but the way she laughed at me uncontrollably when I told her what happened might mean otherwise. So dads, be warned.
