I love that Lloyd is still bad at emotions.

Like he isn’t bad in the sense that he can’t deal with them, but more like he knows how important they are.

But because of this, he really struggles to be like helpful in an emotional conversation.

We see this when he says “I have to believe if master Wu did this…it was for a good reason”

And then when Arin understandably sees it as some sort of excuse, he immediately stutters and doesn’t know what to say. He wants to clarify what he means, but he doesn’t want to sound like he’s making more excuses.

Like we see it to a far lesser degree in SOG when he and Harumi went for that walk. When she talks about how tough it is being a princess, Lloyd comes back with a sorta “yeah I know right?” But that time the mood is lighter so he actually has space to explain his word garbage.

(Like I truly believe Lloyd is an awkward man who struggles with actually normal people communication. Like he can do the formal “I am the son of the son of this famous guy” bit or the “we greatly appreciate your help” kinda phrases no issue, but if you’re like trying to talk to him normally it can be hard.

Anyway I feel like Lloyd might be autistic because like me he seems to struggle with communicating how he feels. Instead just expressing it when he’s so sad or angry he can’t hold it back anymore.)
