The boy came to run with me today. He did just about 2.5 k's with me. It threw my time goals out completely but the reward of teaching him healthy habits is fare more satisfying! There are times in our lives when we have to slow down on our journey to fasten someone else's laces so that they don't fall. At times I had to slow down to a brisk walk so that he can catch up... other times I had to hold his hand to show him he can dig deeper than he thinks he is able to... and there are times when I just had to let him walk to catch his breathe for what remains on the journey...
