They just HAD to play my heart like that

{♣}—Ryan had taken Mary to the park for the evening.  She loved being here during the Summer months, and Ryan thought it was good to get her out of the house.  He was, however, more vigilant than most of the other young parents.  Partly from how protective he was of her, and mostly because his heart welled with pride whenever he watched her laughing and playing, carefree and whimsical.  It made everything seem right.  When a girl sat next to him on the bench, of course he didn’t notice.  Until he leaned back and caught glimpse of her out of the corner of his eye, which made him jump, before settling.

    “Oh, sorry, didn’t see you there.  I was preoccupied.”  He said, laughing for a moment, before watching his daughter, a big smile on his face.

I actually follow both of them on IG, they have two beautiful children.

They make such a cute and pretty couple, lol.

And yeah, Ryan is a good dad, judging from everything his wife posts every now and again.

It’s only an early draft. Finding it a little tough to be all mushy.

I woke in the early hours to an empty bed, the place where he lay was cool in the December chill. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes I moved off the bed. Wrapping my fluffy dressing gown around me, I followed the soft light that was coming from under the bedroom door. I found him standing in front of the lit fireplace, a bundle of blankets in his arms, rocking them gently from side to side, a look of complete love written on his face. I leant against the doorframe as he began to sing,
