#dad anon

i mean i’m sure there’s at least one teammate who’s talked to him about it but yeah i’m not sure where the royal treatment of his father stems from exactly?? like i know there’s a lot of focus on hockey dads and the league likes to play that up but patrick’s dad is everywhere constantly like he doesn’t seem to have a life outside of patrick but let’s be honest neither does anyone else around patrick and the hawks worship them all *looks at the camera* but it just seems excessive although i did notice this past season and i talked about it a lot because i thought it was significant lol that patrick used to always mention his dad/parents at games and give them little shout outs or whatever and he had lots of opportunities this season but he didn’t lol like he made everything about the fans or jonny or whatever but not his parents so i thought that was nice aldfjal;fdja; and yeah even if patrick was like hey you don’t need to come to every single game and practices and hang around chicago and give interviews where you don’t even talk about me his dad would just be like......... yeah well i’m still going to and the hawks obviously love it like they peddle this nonsense more than anyone so
