This super tiny sprite turned out so nice!!! The saddest thing is that if you are primarily a mobile Tumblr user, you won't really ever see it on the blog itself - but I love it!!!

Hmm... alright. I think it’ll be angsty, though, so you might regret asking. But then again, it’s Dabi/Touya, what do we expect? :^) I’m thinking this up on the fly btw, so here I go
Touya is a little younger than Dabi. In the dimension he came from, he didn’t run away. He didn’t fake his death. He endured everything. Even when other dimension Dabi finally lost his patience, lashed out when he was younger at the pivotal moment that landed him the burns that Enji was oh so willing to give at the time, Touya stayed silent. He protected his younger siblings as best as he could, and he didn’t say anything against his father otherwise, up until that one fateful day several years later, when he finally cracked.
So did Enji.
So now the white bandages wind around his neck, all the way up to his chin. Because of the scarring/burns around the lower half of his face, he wears a black face mask, leaving it so only the top half of his face, which remains unscarred, is visible.
He’s paranoid, defensive, and since he manifested outside the League’s hideout in a parallel dimension only a few days after he’d gotten the bandages on, his voice is still sore and achy. His selective mutism doesn’t help his case either. All he wants is to feel safe, to be loved and understood.
Dabi, who’s had to fend for himself for much longer, is very much willing to give him all of that.
It’s Dabi who finds him in the first place, curled up in a ball and passed out behind the dumpster, as if he’d just been dropped out of the sky like a broken angel.
He recognises him instantly, eyes widening, and the man doesn’t show the slightest sign of waking up even as Dabi swears and bundles him into his arms, kicks the door down to the hideout and brings him in to settle him down on the couch. He doesn’t know what’s going on, but he can’t leave someone who looks almost exactly how he used to a few years ago laying outside without doing anything.
He inspects him, eyes roving over his familiar features, the mouth mask, the bandaged neck. He’d had to wear those himself when he was far younger, but these looked new. Almost like the pain he’d had to experience all those years ago was far more recent to this stranger. But who was he?
His clothes are pristine, like he hadn’t even been there long, and though the stench of waste permeates the air, it’s not the heavy kind that’s been festering in fabric for days nor weeks. It had barely even settled into his skin.
After what seems like hours of Dabi pacing nervously, waiting for the other members to come back and tell him what the fuck he‘s supposed to do, what sort of messed-up nightmare prank this is, the man finally groans in his sleep.
Dabi freezes in his steps, peering at the familiar stranger slowly rousing from the sofa. His eyes are still shut in pain, and he hisses quietly through the mask as a hand lifts to rub at his temple as if he had a hangover. But it can’t be, because Dabi smelled no alcohol on him, and in any case, drunken men are the least of his worries when the man looks almost exactly like his past self.
Then at last, the hissing stops. The masked man seems to feel the surface he’s on, realising he’s not where he was before. And then, his eyes snap open, hand coming down to grab at the side of the couch, at the arm of it. Not recognising anything, he stands up and turns, defenses set high and ready for attack.
Dabi’s breath hitches.
And panicky blue eyes meet curious blue ones.

Side note I’m so relieved that Dabi is Touya cuz or else that would make my dabitou au (Dabi x Touya) not selfcest and that would be sad 😔
But I lucked out, y’all 🤪 (I hate that emoji but I’LL MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR IT TODAY >:D)
I kept forgetting to show y’all this so here you go, at last 🥺💕 I love it so much, thank you!!!
oh my GOD. dabitou au where the league doesn't know dabi's also touya. and they're like. "omg dabi is gonna kill his boyfriend's abusive dad??? that's why you're doing this???? romance isn't dead" and dabi's like "well lmao you aren't wrong"
AHJSAJK AMAZING
Also now that you’ve said this, I have to tell you the thought I’ve had playing on my mind ever since the dabitou au came into existence, bc it is one of my favourite scenes >u<; it’s not exactly relevant, but Dabi is about to kill an abusive bitch for his bf
(oh yeah, there’s a dabitou kiss scene in this too)

Imagine Touya defensive, with his hackles raised and fear filling his eyes as Endeavour strides towards the League. With every step the pro hero takes towards them, the other oblivious heroes following, he winces again. Endeavour’s fist clenches at his side, and on impulse, he reaches for his own neck, hands wrapping almost protectively around the new bandages. His fingers are shaking. He remembers the feeling of those burning hands against his skin. Why is this happening?
All the League members have automatically stationed themselves behind him, weapons out, Quirks at the ready. And Dabi stands in front of them all, his sudden leadership a testament to Tomura’s understanding that anything to do with Enji was his call.
If Enji recognises him now, his features placed side by side with Touya’s, he doesn’t let on.
Dabi’s eyes harden as he sweeps out a hand in front of Touya’s shoulders, across his chest, as if he were holding him back, pushing him behind him for his safety. And Touya looks at him over his shoulder like he’s his saviour.
He’d always thought no one would ever come. That he’d have to save himself. Fight for himself.
In some respect, he was right.
But now, he isn’t alone. Now, the League has accepted him as one of their own, despite his weaknesses, despite his flaws. They saw him as the broken man he was and thought he was worth mending. And perhaps they’d done the same with Dabi over time too.
To be accepted twice. Loved twice and tenfold. He can’t quite believe it. Touya belongs with them, they told him. With Dabi.
The one who’d pulled the pain from his scars, whose searing palm pressed against his made blue and orange flames flicker and intermingle in a way that filled his eyes with wonder and not worry. He’d watched blue eyes the same as his soften in those moments as the fire danced in them, warming their hands and their hearts.
And then he’d leaned forwards and kissed him, the flames burning high like a small wildfire, before being softly extinguished when their fingers finally intertwined together.
Still, Touya felt warm.
The kiss he’d given him then was all the love he needed. And more. Because Dabi didn’t kiss him the way he knew he did everything else. It wasn’t rough, violent, nor wrestling for dominance or power.
He’d been soft, gentle, and the fingers of his other hand had swept over Touya’s cheek like he was made of porcelain. Like if for a second he didn’t treat him as carefully as he apparently deserved to be treated, Dabi would never forgive himself for it.
He cradled Touya’s face lovingly as they kissed, lips separating and joining again like puzzle pieces slotting together ever so perfectly, lost pieces of a torn page that finally made sense. And when both pairs of blue eyes opened once again, Touya knew the League was right. He belonged here. With him.
Back on the battlefield, Touya blinks again, and he registers once more the protective stance Dabi’s taken in front of him, shielding him from their abuser. His eyes are steely, and he looks armed to kill.
The man raises a palm, orange flames sparking to blue in an instant. The heroes seem to pause at that. They’d never seen anything other than blue fire from him, but Touya knew better.
Dabi had always seemed calm, but beneath had always been untapped anger. Much like his flames, the calming blue was only a guise for how much rage he was keeping pent up, the sheer blazing heat of said blue fire being proof of that.
He can sense the waves of defensiveness rolling off of him, until finally, Dabi opens his mouth, glaring down Enji.
The words that leave it are an unforgiving warning, a promise to never be broken.
“You will not hurt him again. Not now. Not ever.”
Touya grips the back of his shirt, and the other man lets himself turn his head slightly to look at him, eyes instantly softening in affection.
As his gaze roams over Touya’s face, as if memorising it, he whispers aloud to both sides,
“Over my dead body.”

Thank you so much for the ask, anon >u<; I will gladly take any opportunity to ramble about the babes <3
