yusuf’s baby sister !! not so baby anymore

the apple of their parents’ eyes, there was little as a child that dafne could do wrong to the kayas. she was a perceptive little thing, who had a keen eye for the emotions of others and was never afraid of making a friend.

dafne was the steady one, because she had to be. yusuf was running off on adventures, with or without their father, and she was at home with her mother and the myriad of stray animals she always seemed to acquire. she loved the outdoors – loved the feel of wet earth under her toes and a good days work singing in the sweat of her skin. she supposes it’s a kaya thing.

she was bright and blooming, a flower that opens up in the middle of the room. she turned a blind eye to the way her brother had begun to spiral, but it was alright. she’d been twelve then and volunteering at local shelters when their parents could drive her and busy with friends and school and boys. four years is not a small difference at that age, but now she wishes she knew more.

it was all snuffed out when yusuf came back from the mountains alone. she was fourteen, and everything felt pushed out of place, like someone had moved everything two feet to the left while they slept and she was constantly mis-stepping. a teacher told her one day she’d feel her father’s presence more than her absence. she’s twenty-eight and that day hasn’t yet come. 

those terrible, grey years that followed have become somewhat of a blur. she wants to help, but there isn’t much she can do at fourteen outside the house. she sees her brother’s back start to buckle, sees him and her mother pick up second jobs. she’s determined to help, but there are soft parts of her that remain untouched.

her first job is at the animal shelter. the pay is poor and her hours are sporadic between school and housework, but she loves it so much she doesn’t find she can care much. everyone’s started to ask about uni, and dafne shrugs them off. university is expensive, and anywhere she wants to go is so far from home.

naturally, her mother insists. dafne draws a line and takes the requisite loans out in her own name. there’s some money tucked away still from their father, but it’s for the home, not her own silly exploits. so she goes to vet school, digs herself knee deep in debt, and probably doesn’t sleep for the whole of the time she’s there. she doesn’t manage to snag top of her class, but it’s a close thing.

her father worked primarily as a construction worker and her mom taught at a local elementary school in their hometown of great falls, montana

her parents working all the time meant that brooke spent most of her time with her brothers climbing in trees that fell in their neighbor’s yard or slinging punches at one another that left bruises they’d have to cover up with their mom’s dollar store foundation

was closest to her twin. they were attached at the hip, constantly walking arm in arm wherever they went, and the told each other everything. he was responsible for keeping her calm and mellow and, when she wasn’t with him, she was often difficult to be around

lost lucas, her twin, at the age of sixteen when he collided head-on with a two truck that sent him throughout the windshield of his small beater and headfirst into the concrete. by the time emergency responders reached the scene, he was gone

his death served as the catalyst for brooke to leave great falls after she’d finished high school and follow her boyfriend to new york, where he’d moved only a few months prior to her graduation so he could be closer to his mother

her parents tried to persuade her not to go but she’s never been the type to be easily swayed

with her newfound freedom came the realization that she had to support herself. during her first few years in new york, brooke worked a steady stream of odd jobs, with her longest stint being at a small corner store, before she took on a permanent gig as a cashier at a local gas station shortly after her twentieth birthday

the thought of going to college had never really crossed her mind until she and her boyfriend were on the outs and she was looking for something to do. her grades in high school had been good, if only because her brothers pushed her to try, and her parents were more than willing to shell out cash if it meant that their daughter would do something decent with her time

lockwood wasn’t the first choice but it was a decent one and it meant that she could put distance between herself and her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend by moving into a dorm

her time at lockwood thus far has been smooth as can be expected given that she’s far from home and didn’t know anyone when she first started classes

brooke’s never thrived when left alone and without attention for long, though, and so she took to flitting from person to person and friend group to friend group, always searching for more drama and more chaos

The youngest of three sons, his family had lived in the small town of Aurora Bay for years now.

His mom and dad divorced when he was im primary school due to his father's drinking habit. Despite the issues at home, remained close to his father -often picking up after the old man, making sure he got home safely and had something edible around the house.

Sports kept him busy and ambitious all throughout school. He was a decent soccer player, earning himself a spot on the college team and a scholarship to play for UCLA. He was all ready to go, until he found out his father's health had been deteriorating. He ultimately decided not to go, putting his father before his dreams to get out of town (despite what the rest of his family had to say).

Dom got a job at mechanic shop in town and finally decided to enroll in university once his father's sorbriety seems to stick a little longer.

the youngest of the dimitrescu sisters, daniela is considered the most unstable of the sisters. described as the most ‘delusional’. they’re definitely just the vibe of that ‘i just A BABY’ audio.

created and then adopted by alcina dimitrescu ( also known as lady d , or vampire milf ), the “sisters” were originally maids within the castle, who were chosen by alcina to be used as an experiment with mother miranda. they were infected by the cadou and eventually, when they survived the experiment, were turned into vampire-esc mutants.

the girls are actually 7 million flies in a trench coat (shoutout to a truly unhinged vc where kasey did the math to actually figure this out)

they lived together inside the castle after that as a family, the girls were turned roughly around the late 50s, and the events of the game take place during 2021 sO

at the end of the day, they may be classified as a villain, but HONESTLY ethan fucking winters broke into their house, and started attacking their family. what were they supposed to do??? just let the man kill their mom and NOT try to stop him???????

honestly she’s just very much the annoying little sister, and they are the kind of person that will absolutely use a pout to try and get their way.
