Yeah, it’s super fucking weird to put something supposedly top secret into a glass room, and yeah, that post linked above briefly talks about how they may have done it and still “make it believable”. But, it’s just super weird to me. The opening of T6T itself is, pretty much, slapping us in the face with how “not real” the events to follow will be, which is rounded out at the end with Mary’s death fading into a projector-seeming light before they burn her “coffin”. There’s the theory going around that S4 is a stage play, as well, and in order to see a play, you need the walls to be clear, right? *eyebrow*

Yes, she did say that! I’d like to think that, yes Lovely :) Although he might think he’s just on borrowed time, so he just lost all shits to give. No need to keep buttoned up anymore if you’re just about to die. As well, they made his killing Magnussen meaningless; Sherlock is visibly upset when they show him the doctored video (”That’s not how it happened”) because he did it for John, and essentially that’s all been erased. PLUS these are the people who sent him to his death, so I imagine his tolerance and respect for them all is at absolute zero.

Unless of course he somehow acquired drugs between the doctor’s and going to the meeting without them noticing. Personally I don’t think he is, he just doesn’t care anymore. But I’m not a medical professional; it could be his tolerance for drugs is so high that it’s just not detectable anymore? I don’t know, don’t quote me!

It’s explained right at the beginning of the episode:

The shooting was doctored to change the events so that Sherlock was not involved in the shooting, inevitably removing blame from him. 

Oh! Lovely, I like that interpretation! Though to me, that scene is actually real; it’s what gives Sherlock the idea to “doctor” his story about his doctor. BUT I noticed in another post mentioned that the video seen is the doctored video, so even if someone walked by, it would only be the version that the public sees. 

THAT ALL SAID, I read this meta today that speculates that Mycroft, Smallwood and Sir Edwin are part of the DMSA committee, which would be a top-level high security job, and that these three plus Anthea would be the only ones with the authority to be in this room, so PROBABLY, this glass room may be in a basement:

Or at least a lower level of the building. So it probably requires security passes to get in.

EDIT: Actually, now that I’m looking at the episode, there’s a SHITTONNE of security measures in place here:

Those look like double-paned hallways, and it’s probably bullet-proof glass OR plexiglass. 

“Security Point” suggests to me that one has to pass through a tonne of checkpoints before getting to that bunker room.
