Hey, person who is 25+ years old and grew up watching Degrassi: The Next Generation, there’s a reason why you don’t like Next Class and think it’s dumb and cheesy - you’re not a fucking teen anymore. Degrassi has always been a show that’s target audience is solely teens. They don’t give a single fuck about appealing to adults, so yeah, sometimes it’s gonna be super cheesy and on the nose and simplistic. I promise you, the quality hasn’t drastically dropped, you’ve just aged out of it. 

I'm like 7 minutes into season 4 episode 3 and all I can say is practically none of these characters are likable to me anymore and it just like ugh

So I started watching Degrassi: Next Class, and holy shit Andre Kim (Winston) is cute as fuck. Omg.

I would like to personally congratulate and thank the Degrassi writers for always knowing how to rip my heart out, and crush into little, tiny, bite-sized pieces.

real talk: has there ever been a dance at degrassi that hasn’t ended in some kind of disaster
