I updated the blushing on Heidi and Tais. Heidi was looking very flat and uninteresting to me (I was having trouble with wanting to display her, so I intensified the blushing I did when she arrived and changed her clothes. I like her much more now.)
Tais got a little more coloring, after having her freckles softened. She looks weirdly red in this picture, but is more tan, like she plays out in the sun, in person. It may partially be the contrast between super-pale Heidi and Tais' medium skin tone.
Meanwhile, Lilias looks adorable in Heidi's dress.
I've been trying to make a mini-me for several months, with unsatisfactory results. None of the face molds are quite right, but today I decided to order a CYO that feels like the closest version to me when I was a child. Before this one, I tried various versions with the Josefina mold that had their own drawbacks.
The closest ones in my opinion were TM90, though I actually like her with blue hair, and an eye-swapped TM125 who has this walleyed gaze that drives me bonkers.
I guess if this one doesn't work out, at least I'll have a doll that can't easily be replicated for cheap.
