"S-Classes That I Raised": A Repository of Translations
What's It About: In a changed world with dungeons, and monsters and Hunters, lowly F-Rank Hunter Han Yoojin gets the chance to turn back time after his estranged younger brother - an elite S-Rank Hunter - Han Yoohyun, dies saving his life.
This time around, starting from before their relationship really worsened, he's determined to make sure he gets the best possible outcomes for himself and his brother, and just live quietly beyond that, but looks that won't be so easy when the world is coming to an end, and now all the S-rank hunters around can't stay away from Yoojin.
(It's not a harem novel (mostly). It's Yoojin and his so so many kids and some friends and some situationships. This cover has quite a few people missing from the cast, tbh, even if it does have all the more key ones. The blond man in the top center - NOT the villain - regardless of this cover lmao)
Where to Read It
There are a lot of chapters and quite a few translations floating around in different stages of doneness, so putting this together for reference, with some latest-as-of-2025 info.
Under the Cut!
The Original (aka the novel in Korean)
The main story in Korean seems wrapped up and finished as of May 2025. Clocking a whopping 1165 (sweet sweet) Chapters across the Main Story and the 2 Sequels (Side Story and After Story)
Main Story: 856 Chapters + 14 Chapters of an Epilogue
(This is usually available and often considered one complete work of 870 Chapters. Epilogue Chapter 1 is sometimes just Main Story Chapter 857 also)
This is available to read on a whole bunch of sites such as Naver, Kakaopage, Ridibooks, Munpia, both in ebook and chapter form, as well as on more 🏴☠️ platforms where knovel raws thrive.
Side Story: 167 Chapters (Completed)
Afterwords: 128 Chapters (Completed)
These are, as of now, Naver exclusive and only available on the most hellish of the websites to buy from if you're not in SK, IMO (i.e. Naver). Hopefully this will change. These are also a bit tough to find raws of on 🏴☠️ platforms, ime.
ETA: Finally these are now also on Ridibooks! Which is a way better platform and easier to buy from, and you can 'read' a free chapter every day using browser translators. Very easy way to show some appreciation for the author.
ETA 2: Finally now also on Kakaopage! Easiest platform and with the most amount of ways to get free chapter tokens/coupons etc.
Where to read the Translations!
Main Story Chapters 1 -463: The primary source of translation currently is SFS Translations' version! One needs to contact them for access to their locked/gdocs version (access can take a few days, but generally not more than 3-5 days) This is currently the best and most-up-to-date translation, as far as I know.
Main Story Chapter 1-750 (Last 20 chapters are Patreon-locked) - MattReading Translations is on Wordpress, and the main/current translation linked on NovelUpdates. This is ongoing, and updates pretty frequently. Pretty decent but the site is just ad-city central if you're on mobile. ETA: Moving this out of Misc. since it is now a bit more chapters. ETA2: Updated to the current place.
Beyond this, we venture into MTL land.
ETA: The MTL Version is now complete including the Side Story and the Afterwords! Thank you @tele-portal!!
- Main Story Chapters 350 - 870 (aka till the end): Naive_twilight has put together a MTL epub and pdf available for Chapters 350-870 on reddit. While it is MTL, it is pretty decently understandable, IMO. But you would still want to re-read the chapters once they are released in actual translation, because this is a novel with layers and layers of stuff going on in the narration and dialogue.
- Side Story Chapters 1-167 (aka complete): Naive_twilight to the rescue again, with an epub MTL file on reddit, updated just a few weeks ago.
And that's where we are for now. After Story translation isn't available yet, will update this post, as/when there is something to link.
- Afterword Chapters 1-128 (aka complete!!): Naive_twilight, who is also tele-portal on tumblr! has released the MTL files for these chapters as well recently!
- Other than the Story itself, the author has also done extensive Q&As, which detail out a ton of worldbuilding and characterization notes, and a great collection/translation of some of them by dbgdbw can be found here on tumblr (uhhh, tumblr post linking to gdocs file?)
ETA: @a-sctir-a-day has been doing MTL translations of the Q&As one question-at-a-time as well.
Other Misc Translations
As I said, this is a story with a lot of translations out there, and also this is a story with laters of stuff going on in the narration and dialogue, so sometimes it is very fun indeed to read different versions/takes on the same chapter. (And sometimes you just can't wait until you get access to SFS Translation's version, so you start elsewhere while you wait ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
- FreeWebnovel - Chapters 1-261, but this seems to be abandoned and last updated 6+ months ago. This is also, I think the version, one will find in epub/PDF files of early chapters if one goes looking, and I think it uses text from older unedited raws, as opposed to the latest ones. And hence misses some pretty key new scenes/moments. So unfortunately, decent epub/pdfs for the early chapters are not currently easily findable.
- dbgdbw - Very explanatory and informative translations on tumblr with extensive culture and translation notes for some selected chapters in the 183-350 chapter range, and then a lot of selected chapters all the way to the end. Definitely worth a look, especially if you are into the han-brothers relationship.
- Lalune9x - A small selection of translations (Ch 399-402 and 462-474). They haven't really posted since late 2024, but the chapters that do exist here are very readable and well-translated. A mix of MTL and manual translation according to their pinned-post.
I think that's more or less the main versions that are out there, that I am aware of. Will update as and when new things pop up, and also please do let me know if I have missed something which is out there!
(Also thank you and shoutout to sctir who put together a similar post 3 years back, which is what got me started on this journey and helped me find the good stuff beyond the novelupdates entry)

so blessed to have friends that will literally sit for an hour and a half and listen to me explain my novel, and ask me real questions about the plot and the world building.
writing can be really lonely, really vulnerable sometimes, and it’s a nice surprise when it’s not.
[Congratulations Seo Hoyun! You have been selected as a player in the Unknown Idol Tycoon.]
The good-for-nothing PD, who is criticized by e
Novel review: this novel is genuinely so funny. Laughed out loud at several parts. The MC Hoyun is shameless and will go to any length to see his goals through. But it’s also so sweet and touching and the character relationships are probably in the top five of novels I’ve read that are on a similar vein. They’re all so individual and the author does not let a single character be a NPC stand in, everyone is so fleshed out. The MC’s pov narrative is just. Fascinating. He’s a fascinating guy. You love him but also :’). Hoyunie… ur gonna give me gray hair. Sigh~ The song lyrics and stage concept descriptions and MV narrations are actually so so so good, I really wish this group was real because I wanna listen and watch them so bad now. There’s a joke in a scene that references one of the first kdrama’s I ever watched and it took me by surprise, but I was so excited I had to tell my roommates, who also watch kdrama but don’t even read these types of things :’D
Translation review: also, probably within the top ten or even top five of webnovel translations that I’ve come across. This translator takes the time to make sure even the jokes and idioms get translated in a way that makes sense, and for anything that can’t be they always include comprehensive notes at the bottom of each chapter to make sure you don’t miss even a single reference or cultural inside joke.
Additional notes: has a manhua! style is very nice I love the way the artist draws their eyes <3 also, so far it follows the novel very closely and dedicatedly. Recommend!
All in all, very much enjoyed this one! Read it! But absolutely read top idol revenge first lol

Working through my backlog of pending reviews: Mu Su Li edition!
Two popular ones and one lesser known...
Unseen Immortal of Three Hundred Years! I was all in on the story immediately, and the relationship and the back and forth of forgetting and separating and coming back together built so beautifully and had me in tears several times. The world building was excellent too - I love me a convoluted timeline/alternate universe situation. Second to Panguan for me, but not by much.
Then there's Global Examination which was a lot of fun! I knew most of the plot and spoilers going in so I was just along for the ride. I wasn't as emotionally invested in this one though so no tears this time, haha.
And finally, an early one - Cultural Relics Are Not To Be Messed With, which was fascinating to read in that all the usual Mu Su Li hallmarks were there: a couple separated by amnesia and/or death; a fun team of side characters; mysteries about the past coming to play in the present. But it kind of felt like a first draft of different pieces that she would use to greater effect in future books. It wasn't bad! I enjoyed it, but I was definitely less invested in it and it pales in comparison to her later works.
Best c-novels I've read lately (and added to my masterlist)
風荷舉 / Wind Lotus' Rise (raws) 10 stars (ok 5, but it was that good.)
Ugh this one was sooooo goood. It's got everything I could want. Fantastic male lead, a love story full of emotional rollercoasters, just the right amount of war and politics, age gap romance, the tragic choice of the beauty vs. the country. You'll gasp, you'll cry.
The male lead, tho... like I could go on and on. He's just so good. So human. A very realistic look at the cost of being the backbone of a noble family. He's so lonely and constrained by duty to the country and by having to protect his family from potential ruin...so when he finally admits his love for the female lead, it's so precious because it's the first time he's allowed himself to be selfish. T.T
The female lead is physically weak but mentally strong. Eventually, their roles switch, and she ends up caring for the male lead and being his source of support. Great UST, and eventual spicy bits. Also...so damn epic. Get you a man who'll start an entire war to save you.
尚公主 / Princess Shang (raws) 5 stars
Wow, this one. So this is the first work I've read by this author, and they really love writing imperfect characters with personality flaws. This isn't just an arrogant, overbearing princess + a little white scholar romance. The princess has legit trauma. She escaped a political marriage in an enemy country and is not "c" as the kids say. You'll start out really not liking her. ^^' There were so many times reading where I was about ready to throw her out with the bathwater, but the male lead has the patience of a saint, so I was like, ok, he's able to deal with her, so can I lol.
The male lead seems like a pushover...he's just so damn nice. But he's also got his own self-esteem issues and struggles (how to be a pure minister? It's really impossible). The novel takes place over 10 years and you'll get to see both leads slowly mature and grow as not only individuals but as partners. I liked the male lead a lot; he was really relatable. He wasn't perfect or overpowered (he's a little dull emotionally, super shy, and can't write a poem to save his life), but he's also extremely intelligent and knows how to work the room, the makings of an excellent minister.
There's also a great cast of side characters you'll find yourself rooting for (and crying over.) The further I read, the higher my initial rating rose. The politics and war plotlines are well balanced and engaging; I never got bored. The pacing was good too. I loved seeing the OTP grow. It definitely takes a while before they get their HE, but don't worry, they will.
As always, big thank you to my dealer @aysekira for reccing these to me. <333
OH CRAP. I forgot to talk about:
灯花笑 / Deng Hua Xiao (raws) 5 stars
This is Qian Shan Cha Ke's newest? And omg I loved it. (And have re-read it twice.) It's a very different kind of revenge story. The FL spends her childhood trapped on a mountain with a poison master who uses her as a medicine tester/pin cushion, and when she's finally able to come down the mountain to reunite with her family, they're all dead. In a tragic, almost farcical chain of events that shows that the common people are truly ants beneath the boots of the aristocracy.
What I love: The FL slowly and painstakingly plots her revenge to the nth degree, but it never feels like she's overpowered or has a golden finger, so to speak.
The male lead falls first. Oh, and it's enemies to lovers...because he's a noble son and member of the jinyiwei who is perceptive enough to notice that something's not quite right with the new doctor in town, and she's ready to kill anyone who gets in the way of her plans.
FL HATES I mean HATES the bourgeoisie. And I get it. Power corrupts, capitalism sucks, and gosh it's nice seeing the awful people in power get what's coming to them...T.T
So, so satisfying. So sad. I cried a lot ngl. (It does have a HE for those who are worried.) And, ugh, the plot twists and revelations keep on coming til the end. Fun side characters, and interesting subplots too.
p.s. I could totally imagine Wu Jin Yan playing this character, in fact I think she would make a far better fit for this heroine than she did in The Double/Marriage of the Di Daughter.
p.p.s @dangermousie I'm still gonna bug you to read this one because I really think you'd like it.
