The 1952 film 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏’ 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒂𝒊𝒏 is not only one of the most beloved films of all time but also had costumes designed by the one and only Walter Plunkett.   Cyd Charisse wore this fabulous green flapper gown as a dancer in 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏’ 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒂𝒊𝒏’𝒔 production number “Broadway Melody.”   This dress and many others from 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏’ 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒂𝒊𝒏 were recycled for the 1954 film 𝑫𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒚 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 during the “Artists and Models” production number.   Find links to the production numbers at: Bit.ly/PostEd218
