I grew up with American Girl paper dolls, they are precious, and I got the idea to try and do a couple different outfits and lifetimes as different paper dolls.

I'M SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG I KINDA FORGOT ABOUT IT
There's never a day that isn't nice this year. Even the rainy ones are perfect, because then they all play games in what's become their living room, where Merle is never playing the right game, Taako is always trying to cheat, Lup is calling him out on his bullshit, Magnus is sneakily doing what he can to delay Taako and help himself, Barry is arguing with Davenport about the specifics in the rules, and Davenport is trying to keep them focused on the game and stopping an all-out brawl between the twins.
Yeah, rainy days are good days. Today isn't a rainy day, though - it's bright and sunny, and the absolute perfect temperature as the sun rises over the ocean. Lucretia takes a moment to appreciate it, the sound of the waves crashing against the cliff she's chosen to paint on today a grounding force for her. A reminder that she's here, she's real, and so is her family.
Smiling to herself, she turns back to her canvas, letting the scrosciare become a steady base to the sounds of the plane around her, weaving itself into a sort of song. She takes stock of where she left off in her painting, then starts mixing some paints to resume the figure of Davenport.

Barry: Boy, Taako, I appreciate it. I feel like I’ve… There have been times where I haven’t been able to hang out with everybody cause y’all go swimmin’ and there are times where there’s people I, like, you know, want to hang out with and I just haven’t been able to do it and that’s not a good look and it makes me look like a big nerd and I, um…
Taako: Mm-hm.
Barry: It’s just that- I don’t know. It’s… nevermind, it’s stupid. Thanks for teaching me how to swim.
Taako: Well, what? I’m mean, you… you coulda just come out with us. I mean what are you… Who are you afraid of looking silly in front of?
Barry: It’s- don’t worry about it, it’s nothing. I, uh…
Taako: [sing-song] Barryyyy!
Barry: We should get back to the ship...
Taako: [sing-song] Barry, I rolled an 11! You gotta tell me, Barry!
Barry: I just think, you know, it’s like all of you… I don’t wanna embarrass myself in front of... for example, just like… like… Lup.
Taako: Okay…
Barry: Yeah, I look up to Lup a lot. You know, I don’t wanna be out there floundering around, splashing around like some sort of goobus so, um…
Taako: Uh, I see where you’re going with this, Barry. You- Listen, this is not a surprise to me. You’ve ever heard the term ‘locked in’? It’s when a wave crashes and the surfer is inside it. Barry, you’re locked in and this wave’s crashing all around you, my man and I don’t begrudge you anything. You know, we’ve lost a lot, and there’s a lot more we might lose but the one thing we do have is the thing that people in love rarely ever have enough of, and it’s time.
Barry: Oh, I- I don’t know about… You know, I don’t know about in love. It’s only been tw- Um… Twenty-one years…
Taako: Sure. Sure.
Barry: Sh- shit.
Taako: Barry, I- you got all the time in the world, my man.
