I really wish that we’d got to see more of Cyborg and Terra’s friendship. Her relationship with Beast Boy was show-cased a lot, She and Raven had Titan Rising, and while we didn’t see much of her with Robin and/or Starfire they still had their moments. (Robin trying to help Terra first with her powers and later out of Slade’s grip and Starfire’s hugs and Terra’s love of Star’s food.) Yet Cyborg only had one every once in a while and they were always small and interrupted by another. Even his “death” unlike the others which were individual, was done with Beast Boy’s, and considering how dramatic BB’s was, Cy got forgotten. I just wish we had more than subtext about it, that’s all.

I don’t get why everyone acts like Cyborg has to be a big brother to every other member of the main team. You’re allowed to have all the Brotp’s you want, but please don’t rule out the idea of him being with one of the other Titans so quick. And yes, I am aware that a similar thing happens with Robrae, BBStar, Raestar etc. but it just feels especially bad with him.

By blaming genuine Cyborg/Bumblebee shippers or Cyborg/Bumblebee as a ship, it not only ignores the real problem of the overall fandom treating Cyborg and Bumblebee as disposable and not worth as much love or attention as other characters, but it scares away actual fans of theirs from interacting and sharing their works.

I think that the shipping wars only happened because Raven was never paired up in the series, so BBRae and Robrae happened but BBTerra and Robstar were still also popular blah blah blah… My point is that Cyborg wasn’t paired up ethier, yet most people just push him over to Bee and call it a day. I just find that a little weird, and a little annoying, that’s all.

I feel like people only ship Cybee because they are a black boy and girl who are friends or because it’s popular. And that pisses me off!

Season 3’s main storyline is super underrated. Cyborg is already a great character to begin with, but it also has Brother Blood as an effectively creepy villain without being a copy of Slade and an expansion of the show’s world via more details about the H.I.V.E and other teenage heroes. All within just four episodes, too.
