#bumblebee confessions

I wish Bumblebee had more fanfics about her that only focused on her and her not being shipped with someone. If there had to be shipping in Bumblebee’s fanfics, I would prefer it to be a small part of the fanfic and not the sole purpose of the fanfic.

I hate the fact that such a strong woman of color like Bumble Bee, has been reduced by the fandom to Cyborg’s love interest.

By blaming genuine Cyborg/Bumblebee shippers or Cyborg/Bumblebee as a ship, it not only ignores the real problem of the overall fandom treating Cyborg and Bumblebee as disposable and not worth as much love or attention as other characters, but it scares away actual fans of theirs from interacting and sharing their works.

I was re-watching Wavelength recently and Bumble Bee was a lot crueler to Cyborg than I remembered. He was already in a pretty distraught state after everything, and she kept on pressing his buttons and only making it worse. I’m not saying we should start hating on her since she is still a strong female role model, I just thought that she should’ve been called out for it more. Also didn’t help make me like Cybee more.

I feel like people only ship Cybee because they are a black boy and girl who are friends or because it’s popular. And that pisses me off!
