It was a busy day in the hospital and Snow has her hands full, having to deal with soldiers that were able to survive the pre-war. Seeing them always makes her heart sink, but at the same time thankful that they were strong enough to get back home. Actually, she felt rather ashamed, considering the fact that she had come from Germany. Nazis, most especially Hitler, had done more destruction to the reputation of the Deutsch people, than giving them pride, like how he envisioned them to be. That's the one thing of which haunts the pure mind of Snow whenever she had to deal with these soldiers. To be honest, she was very much thankful that no one here was bashing her for being German. The only reason why she ended up in America is because even before the war had broken, her family was already settled in the country. Her real name of Sophia Blanche was changed to Snow White, to neutralised her stay and thus making her able to work in the hospital at the current. Snow then walked through the line of cots, each occupied with a soldier. The others are conscious and the others are not. The ones she was handling are the unconscious one, taking moments to sit down with them and talk to them. Arriving at the last cot in the ward, whilst she prepared things from her strolling tray, hazel eyes would gaze upon the unconscious soldier before her. As always, she wore a smile. Among the others, she's the only one who would always put a gentle smile despite being in a place of utter uncertainty, when it comes to the lives of these soldiers. The reason for this smile was hope and she always hoped that even if the unconscious ones don't see her smile, they would feel it and one day their eyes would open. Once she was already done, carefully the young nurse took a seat on the soldier's bed. Until now, she doesn't know his name. How she wishes that he already wake up so that she could ask him of his name. But from her file, she read that it was Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes. So as she sat, she greeted him, even if knowing he probably won't respond anytime now. ❝Hello Sergeant Barnes... I'm Snow, again. I'm just doing my usual rounds, making sure you're still breathing.❞ She followed it by a small giggle, then she went on to check his vitals. She moved her hands upon him very gently and slowly, taking her time since once she's done with him, she can go home.
