watched the arrow episode where felicity and sara first meet <3 yayyyy. it’s so good how the literal first thing sara says to felicity is “you’re cute.” later in the episode one of the assassins makes a reference to sara being “the beloved” which makes me think at this point the writers knew they were gonna have sara be bi and previously involved with nyssa. so sara calling felicity cute could be an allusion to sara’s bisexuality. even if it’s not who cares i love them. there’s also a part where after oliver stitches up a wound on sara’s back felicity hands her a shirt to put on and it’s so fun bc diggle and oliver are facing away from sara, who is facing away from them, but sara and felicity are facing each other. which means felicity can see sara’s BOOBS. doesnt look like shes staring or anything but. it’s fun for me. the intimacy of just girls <3
the sara/oliver/felicity dynamic that’s being set up here is so juicy bc it’s like, oliver wants to be back with sara bc he feels like shes the only one who can truly understand him after what happened during those 5 years. and sara initially doesnt wanna be with oliver bc she thinks he’ll hate her for being an assassin, but then when oliver shows her he doesn’t hate her shes like hmm well maybe. but at the same time sara sees the closeness oliver has with felicity (and diggle, but hes not directly part of this sexual equation) and is like well i could never have that with him, i’m a loner. and she sees felicity and like. i think she sees felicity’s bravery in a way that oliver sometimes fails to, because she remembers what it was like to not be a killer, so she sees how scary it is for felicity to do the things she does and how heroic she is for doing it anyway. i think sara takes an immediate liking to felicity because her sweetness and earnestness remind her of herself back before everything went sour, yet she’s so much better than sara ever was. and i think maybe she intuits that felicity deserves better than her or oliver, which is why she doesn’t really try to make a move on her. but she still likes her. as for felicity it feels like at first she mostly only cares for sara because she cares for oliver and she knows sara is important to him. and i do think she realizes sara is someone who oliver can love, and who might love him, because the two of them are so of a kind. but felicity doesn’t think oliver would ever love her so she’s not going to like try to stand between them or anything. and eventually she will grow to care for sara because shes sara and not just bc of oliver <3 so excited to see that happen
