Flash back Friday...to that time a couple weeks ago when I did a photoshoot for our local magazine! 📸 . I figured I’d share this pic from that day in honour of signing up today for our BIG local trail race. This year I signed up to do the full 25km distance with about 840m of elevation gain. 😬 . I’m open to training plan ideas/resources if any runner friends want to hook a girl up? 🏃‍♀️ . Last year I volunteered to be the sweeper on the half course (13km). It was lovely, but I’m ready to step it up this year and go for it. 🤘 . I was planning on just a good ole selfie to post, but I was photobombed in the cutest way! 😻 . What I wanted to share with you all though, was that I was interviewed tonight to be a part of an article in a local magazine about our running community. 😳 . They’re interviewing a few of us all with different ages, experience and goals. I can’t wait to read the whole thing!!! I just couldn’t believe I was asked to do it. I’m not an award winning runner like lots of our runners are. I’m just a girl who decided to go for it one day and found her passion. 💕 . I told her tonight that the club literally changed my life. I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s true. I don’t know where I’d be had I not signed up for that 5k clinic 2 years ago. 🏃‍♀️ . Running gave me more confidence to say yes to new adventures. To meet more people and not be quite as shy as I was. I probably wouldn’t be a health and wellness coach with an online business with another amazing community, but online. 💻 . I’m thankful everyday I decided to run, that I decided to say yes. If you’re saying YES to new adventures, give me a shout because I’ve got just the one!!!
