Variations: Heads, rhinophores, and oral tentacles range in color from translucent orange to a translucent blue-black color. The bodies sometimes are translucent with opaque white splotches, while other times the whole body is just plain opaque white
Diet: Carnivorous, feeding mainly on hydroids, such as the hydroid aglaophenia cupressina
Size: ~1-5 cm long

Cuthona yamasuiÂ
Cuthona yamasui (Nudibranchia - Tergipedidae) is an exceptional and uncommon sea slug found in the Tropical Indo-West Pacific.Â
This small nudibranch (30-35 mm) shows color variation, particularly of head, rhinophores and oral tentacles appear to range from translucent orange to dark blue-black. Body color is somewhat translucent light orange- brown. There is a prominent white band between the rhinophores.
The tips of the oral tentacles and rhinophores are whitish. Cerata are elongated. The tips of the cerata are black followed by a yellow and turquoise blue band. Rest of the cerata is greyish-white in appearance.Â
