when i was younger i tried to look up the teen titans online and for basically my entire life up to that point i had thought robin was japanese. there were like minded people in the comcis but they would always be shot down by the self righteous people who read the comics and made sure to drill into your mind that dick grayson and jason todd and all the other incarnations of robin were definitely and completely white and so now every time i rewatch the teen titans tv show i think about it and it fills me with rage
