Every week brings such sweet collaborative surprises from artists, bands, and producers we love, and this next one is going to be a hard one to top off as we hit the mid-point of this week. Amsterdam duo CUT_, whose evocative and intricate electronica has launched them high up the list of our favorite alt/indie acts these past couple of years, unites with fellow Nordic act Klangstof on Fever. It’s a heady seductive electronic song whose dreamy sensual, viscous simmering fog is awash in desirous lust. Klangstof’s leisurely drawl is a heavenly pairing to CUT_’s torpid lingering vocals and flushed creeping beat. Fever arrives with an intimate one-take video whose muggy, humid one on one accentuates the song’s parched burning libido. Interestingly enough, they recorded the video in reverse, so singer Belle had to learn how to sing its lyrics backwards. It’s an intriguing touch that adds an even more eerie and anxious edge to the song/video’s intense thirst and longing. Keep up with CUT_ via their website, here.

Belgian producer Taska Black, a definite name to watch as we prepare to transition into the new year, has partnered up with surging Dutch production duo DROELOE on a dramatically gripping, cinematic roaming future trap original named Running Away, featuring Amsterdam electronic duo CUT_ on ethereal vocals. Though an acute jabber and a resolute marcher, there’s a classy grace and kingly grandeur to the magnificent song. Running Away evokes majestic landscapes and regal peaks. Those gifted Dutch producers are at it again, doling out shiver inducing beauty on a brilliant new original named Broken. DROELOE and San Holo team up on the dreamy future bass and chillstep aria, which features crystalline enchanting vocals by CUT_. I can’t help but picture wind chimes swaying in a soft entrancing, cool billowing breeze. If anything’s broken here, it’s me, into a million pieces by this heartrending gem. It’s a whole new level of spellbinding sorcery that comes by way of Dutch electronic pop project CUT_ as the duo presents us with Undertow. Phantogram like raspy breathiness, MØ like melodic sass, and Purity Ring like icy bewitchment welcome us into this dusky swelling, sinuous curling soundscape full of magic and intrigue. As much as we’ve loved CUT_’s music previously, Undertow is their crowning achievement to date.

this band needs more recognition, still, aslo this music and music video is ...pretty ghood! so gooood!!! pls give this band a chance if you listening for the 1st time!
