The doll's clothing is based on the clothing of the Miao ethnic groups in China.
Here's the dress I made for my lightly customized Tiffany Taylor yesterday (I painted over her irises and eye shadow, and cut off all of her hair and gave her a wig)
The fullness of the skirt was limited by the amount of the fabric scraps I had to work with (I do have yards more of this fabric, but, when I thrifted it, it had two extra little cut-off sections, and that's what made the skirt. Yes, the print is technically upside-down. It's fine.)
I feel like the dress has a hint of the mid-1970s era, when the doll was made
Oh, I've also discovered that the Tiffany Taylor body can wear high heel slim MSD type shoes
