i kinda want to get into witchcraft but not really out of belief. i wana do it a) to research all these herbs b) for the placebo effect of spells and such and finally c) divination forces me to self reflect if that makes dense?

in any case i dont believe in the actual craft and i have no intention of getting into patron gods etc etc. would it be offensive to practice? im not going to disparage the culture or anything, im just not a believer of it.

you dont need to be a witch or practice witchcraft for any of this let alone to learn about herbs, you just need to understand what youre getting into and what the pros and cons of things are /lh i fully encourage research into things you find interest in, thats what got me here!

divination is a lot about self-reflection especially tarot so that makes complete sense!

i started divination way too early, got myself into things without realizing and paid the price for it. i see this happen to a lot of people though, not just baby witches, ghost hunters and new mediums too.

dunno about my favourite piece of knowledge but my favourite thing to do research on and look into tends to be associations (what abc is often used for xyz and so on). my favourite part of writing the tarot posts is what the card's associations and common interpretations are ^^

i partially follow the wiccan rede (basically just the three fold rule), and my own moral code ig? as long as its not against another persons will, dead or alive, almost anything goes, just know what youre getting yourself into.

witchsona art. i love seeing all the different designs. that and herbal magic or witch stories. or even just watching shows like lwa.

im not sure, i dont exactly interact with the witch community anywhere in general so i havnt heard any new or recent things.
