🎮 - What’s your favorite video game?

I think, at the end of the day, it’s Pokémon Red. I sunk so many hours into that game as a child and it just gives me so many positive memories, of a time when I had a lot less worries and anxieties. I was able to just disappear into a neat little reality and have fun, immerse myself without having to be panicked about performance or opinions. Just at the right age that it captured my attention while feeling like I wasn’t bothering anyone.

In more modern senses, I would say Fallout 3 is really high up there. I hadn’t been captivated by a game like that in an aggressively long time, and it- to this day- always makes me smile. I miss that game dearly, I think I know what I will be doing this weekend…

🍕 - What’s your favorite food?

This is rather difficult for me because I don’t think I have a favorite food, if I’m being honest. Things like pizza or spaghetti are an easy choice that everyone picks, but maybe that’s what I should say? Truthfully, I’m a relatively picky eater to begin with, when I do actually eat.

Right now, my vice has been these spicy chicken ramen cups because they’re cheap and easy and I can make them at work. I’ll go with that!

💗 - Do you prefer angst or fluff?

In context, I guess angst? To me, it provides more gear to storytelling and allowing characters and the world around them to grow and develop. Fluff (and shipping in general) just stagnates. It doesn’t move a plot, it doesn’t tell a story, it just is a part of it.

While I think ‘angst’ is a little overdone in the community as a whole, I find it can bleed into multiple themes and genres with a lot better ease than fluff does, since fluff can be implied in a single action while angst can be an entire dynamic for multiple characters.

Now, to be fair, that can be true for each of those in reverse too, and I am aware of that. I just.. Don’t enjoy writing fluff.

🎲 - Do you have a favorite board game?

Yes!! I love the Mansions of Madness style games!! And Risk! Both those games make me really happy, but I can’t be trusted in one and I tend to do nothing in the other! I’ll let you pick and choose which is which!!

Against what she wills to say, she falters, sight dropping to the floor and her head tilting with it. Though highly aware of his callous nature and sharp tongue, hearing such biting words from his mouth, in his unwavering deep tones woven with such cold indifference... it leaves more of a lasting mark than if he would have actually struck her. Whether or not he knows of her deepest insecurities has no bearing on how much that hurt.

The hopeful part of her lips quickly minimizes into that of a petulant pout, accompanied by the furrow of tiny brows. Why she expected anything else is beyond her, though perhaps she thought trying is better than leaving well enough alone.

He receives childish pout and an equally childish gesture: a tongue poking out from closed lips in retaliation, honestly proving his point. She recognizes this, but makes no effort to contradict his claim.
