every time i reread inkheart i stumble over the fact that dustfinger includes "birthday parties for children" in his list of events where he earns his money like….. who meets this clearly traumatized sort of mean scarred homeless guy and his bitey animal friend and goes oh i know where i want you to be. my daughter's 8th birthday party :)
Currently rereading the Inkheart trilogy and the relationship between Dustfinger and Orpheus is so fucking funny tbh. What if blorbo from your favourite book is real and absolutely hates your guts

starting to read the Inkheart (2003) book as a guy who loved the movie as a kid - got two questions:
1. is there still a fandom out there? ( i know if there’s a dying/dead fandom they’re on tumblr lmao )
