which is why she’s at the front of the sheriff’s house now, feeling uncomfortable in a pastel pink sweater that her mom had insisted suited her but sam just thinks makes her look washed out - - and LOOKING UP at the sheriff she had dodged with deena while out late to hang out in parking lots only a month or two ago. “uhm - excuse me, sheriff goode? sorry to bug you - - - do you have a hose i can borrow? i don’t think we’ve unpacked ours yet and i can’t find it.”

“Why can’t you get taller?”

Since arriving in Britain, Sebastian had spent most of his time pursuing various contracts; most recently that of Ciel Phantomhive. It had been all work and no play, for the most part. He was pleased that holiday was to happen out at Dover this year, instead of in the town house of London. The famous white cliffs were something that he wanted to see while in this part of the world. An even, charcoal overcast painted the sky out across the Strait, and an unsteady wind threatened a storm, yet the demon’s keen senses could not pick up on any approaching rain, so he did not feel the need to suggest that himself and the Earl head inside. Something was out of place. The air had an unusually fishy smell to it, yet he could not pick out what the issue was. He mused on what the cause could be when it began to reveal itself; a large wave, which had to be 40 meters or so in height, rushed towards the cliffs. This was not quite half of the height of the cliffs before them, but he made sure that his young master was back from the edge when it impacted. This area was not prone to earthquakes, and the narrow width of the strait meant that if there had been an earthquake, Sebastian would have felt it. However, there was none. As the spray and mist cleared from the crashing of the giant wave, several monstrous, tentacled, jellyfish-like creatures appeared in its wake, slowly but steadily headed towards the cliffs. They were not quite as tall as the cliffs; roughly as tall as the wave that preceded them, but the fact that they could support their forms on their tentacles told Sebastian that they could climb the cliffs. He looked to his young master for direction, as he never acted without orders.

“Live in a cabin, so I won’t be around you humans all the time.”

With no future repercussions and having no one else to blame this anger was taken out on the butler. As such he didn’t look forward to entering the office with a fresh cup of tea as he was doing now. He knocked before entering. The demon had rarely ever experienced fear in his life time, but now it was constant. Even now he dared not say anything as he set the cup and saucer on the only space left on the desk. 

“I’m thinking Samael if it’s a boy. Lilith if it’s a girl.”

      hive ? ”

The raven-haired man looked down at the boy, as he got a hold of one of the bars on the cage. “You going to get me some funnel cake or peanuts?” he asked quietly.
