TBR Diaries - Day 4
I started Pride and Prejudice in a café after work, this although technically a reread, is a different edition than the one I read a while ago and in spanish. I like to read classics in both my first language and english when I can specially unabridged editions and see the difference in phrasing.

Finally caved and went through all my books in my unread shelf. Not counting what few comics I have cause I’ll get to those after, though I did count graphic novels cause I don’t have as many. Decided to do this so I have a compiled list of all books I own I have not currently read. Which the very relevant book loving half of my personality has been smacking me upside the head for lately. So decided to cave and get back into reading starting tonight and into tomorrow. Some of them I genuinely do t remember if I’ve read so added them just to be safe (mainly out of the spn og novels). I also added a reread for the first disc world book I’ve owned Mort because the next one The color of Magic is in thr u reads and I needed it as a refresher so added it just for continuity context. Everything else is legitimately unread and never been read. Also didn’t count a few particular books that I would have added but for some reason I have like a book mid series and none of the rest. And considering I’ve never read the series as a whole not doing it out of order. Might add a few rereads for series I haven’t finished after the fact but we’ll see how it goes. Also realized I’m missing two books ontop of this screenshoted list.

TBR Diaries - Day 3
Finished reading Inspector French and the Sea Mystery! Not gonna lie, I wasn't a huge fan by the middle of the book, it felt too slow and convoluted, HOWEVER oh boy did the plot twist gave me a run for my money. I have to admit that after pondering on the book for the night I did realise that the pacing really did make sense for what the author may have wanted, I felt like I was figuring out the case with the inspector the whole time and it was really fun!!
3.75/5 Not my favourite mystery, but a recommended one if you don't mind some convolutedness and slow pacing!

TBR Diaries - Day 1
I want to get myself back in the groove of things, especially since I'm on break, which is why I want to start the road towards clearing my physical TBR. Right now I'm going through an Inspector French novel and will probably follow up with the second instalment of the Thursday Murder Club (I decided to put any rereads on pause till I run out of books on my TBR).
Today I went to a café after work to finish some things since I couldn't go back to the office in time after a visit, and read while I finished my apple crumble and coffee. As of right now, I'm giving this book 3 stars. It's really slow-paced, and it can get a bit chaotic and convoluted while moving the plot too little so I'm not the biggest fan. If you want an amazing mystery I recommend A Fatal Crossing by Tom Hindle, which is a 4.75 (I was very nitpicky and didn't like some plot points and the pacing at the start)
