I very recently got this #Skip #curling stone pin. I took pictures on Friday and was thinking about how eventually I want to earn the right to wear that pin especially since I only know how to play lead. Little did I know that less than 36 hours later I’d be skipping my own team. This was the first time I’ve slid out of the hack and delivered stones since the Hotter Than Hell bonspiel in July where I got hurt, and I’m relieved I did better than I thought I would. I’ve swept since July but have not been throwing rocks. With #WMCC2019 about to get underway, there’s bound to be plenty of #curling posts as I cheer on my fave @niklasedin in his quest for a 4th World Championship title so you’ve all been warned 😜 Here’s a photo of a #crochet #curlingstone and some #curlingpins Since I played lead for a trio during winter league, I kept both the lead and second #pins from the set of four and gave the vice and skip ones to the guys I curled with. Members of @teamniklasedin each got a corresponding pin at #ContCup2019 along with a #crochetcurlingstone I think I’m going to order another set of pins for the guys I’ll be curling with for spring league. I’m sorry in advance because I suck and thanks in advance for your patience.
