Thought about a new direction for the last explorable area of this post apocalypse dating sim where the goal is to repair your relationship with your girlfriend bc the protag has issues opening up or communicating and immediately started crying so I guess thats just what im doing for the second to last area now lol
changes the game to be more about saving your failing relationship than figuring out what ended the world

It depends on the wip! For more lighthearted / modern stuff, I tend toward any fashion i've seen people wear irl and draw them on my ocs a la Joey and Charlotte from the curiosweep project below ->
or for fantasy/sci-fi, I tend to look at some cultural clothing for inspiration in the moment! if i try to draw anything too elaborate it doesn't work lol. i am not an artist

So this one's REALLY dependent on what the WIP is lol just bc I try to do every genre in general- so I'd say a more horror-themed project like Beasts Without Burden is pretty heavily influenced by gothic lit and the works of Emily Carroll and Edgar Allen Poe, while something like curiosweep- a post apocalypse dating sim- is influenced by Undertale and 17776!
Considering shifting the focus of this treasurehunting game just slightly so that it becomes a dating sim where the protag is already dating the love interest and has to spend the game repairing a rift in their relationship or making it bigger
