You don't cuss, but you're patronising, passive-aggressive, and a bully, though you often play victim. In comments, especially with those disagreeing with you, you belittle, you hurl excessive amounts of irrelevant information to try to 'prove your superiority' when someone dares to challenge you, you dismiss, diminish and rarely listen. Your arguments are often weak, and nit-pick to extremes. You may have read a lot, but your perception and understanding of what you read, is extremely Blinkered
I believe I mentioned in a previous ask-answer that the few times I go for the throat are when Iāve essentially lost patienceā¦for whatever reason. Which Iāve now lost.
When someone ādares to challengeā me in a belligerent, obnoxious, childish way, then yes, I dismiss. If you (editorially) cannot act with the sense God gave a ten-year-old, then Iām forced to assume you have no sense, and must act accordingly. And when someone Iām talking to tosses common sense out the window and acts like they have no sense, then Iām probably going to accidentally dip intoĀ āpatronizingā every once in a while.
The information I present at that point might seem irrelevant to you, but at that point (which takes me a while to get to unless yelling is involved) I have to assume whoever Iām talking to is so lost for whatever reason (ignorance, stupidity, whatever) that I need flashcards and a step-by-step map to help them reach my point. Thatās not about being superior. Itās literally that apparently theyāre not connecting the dots, so Iām going to have connect the dots for them.
My arguments are only āweakā if the person viewing them refuses to listen to sense, experience, and thorough research. See, the thing about me is, I donāt get into public debate unless Iāve done actual research - generally extensive research - on the subject in question (unless weāre talking about what constitutes basic human decency, because then itās not really a matter of research, is it?). Would you try to argue with Richard Gansey III about Glendower? Or Cress Darnell about hacking satellites? Or Katniss on wilderness survival? Most people, without training in that field, would know better. Now, obviously most people donāt know me from Eve, but I try to afford those online the courtesy of notĀ assuming theyāre all idiots until they prove themselves unequivocally to be.
I do not nitpick to extremes unless the argument Iām nitpicking apart was made by someone being unnecessarily rude to someone. And the only times Iāve done that in recent memory (as in, the last 2 years) on this site have been about Chris Colferās books - Chris Colfer, whose skills as a writer I saw publicly denounced by a panel of authors last weekend - and Clint Barton.

As for listening, I do listen. Or read, as the case may be. But listening doesnāt mean Iām going to agree with you. And there are times where I may agree with the statement but not how itās worded. Thereās literally a tumblr post that I didnāt create that expresses that very sentiment.
In regards to āBlinkeredā (why is that randomly capitalized, btw?) perception, I think thatās a failing in practically everyone. But please feel free to give me an example. If you can.
Lastly, I am not passive-aggressive. If I have an actual problem with someone, I will tell them. Iām not shy about telling someone whoās gotten on my nerves to take a hike. Such as yourself - youāre irritating me. If youāre going to write an ask with accusations, at least be specific. Thatās just laziness. Show some respect, if not for me, than for yourself. Mount a decent attack.
Iām about through with the hate-mail for today. Time to focus exclusively on nice things.
PS - last, last thing. Donāt use the wordĀ ābullyā when you come into my inbox on anon dropping hate mail in my cyberspace. I make a point not to insult people unless provoked and I have neverĀ left hate, anon or otherwise, in someoneās inbox. And on that note, you can go kiss a shark.
